Feature
A verified revenue badge for your site and README
Paste one line of HTML or Markdown and your site shows a small badge with your handle, or a project's verified MRR, that links to your page.
Two badges
- Your page: "@yourname on makerhandle", for a personal site, a blog sidebar or a profile README.
- A project: its name and verified revenue, with a check mark, for the project's own site or repository. It shows MRR when Stripe has subscriptions, otherwise the last 30 days of sales, the same figure as your page.
A project without a connected revenue source says "Built by @yourname" instead. Typed-in numbers never appear on a badge, so a figure on one always comes from the provider. See verified revenue.
Get the code
In the editor, open Share and pick Embed badge. Choose your page or a project, a light or dark theme and a pill or card style, then copy the snippet:
- HTML for any website: a plain link around an image, with its width and height set so the page never jumps. No script.
- Markdown for a GitHub README, which GitHub shows like any other badge.
The badge is an SVG, so it stays sharp on any screen, and it refreshes within the hour when your numbers change.
Counted in your stats
The badge links to your page with ?ref=badge, so clicks show up under Embed badge in your analytics sources, next to the rest of your traffic. Nothing is tracked on the site that shows the badge.
Hide revenue on your page and every project badge switches to "Built by" within the hour. A page that is not live yet shows a plain makerhandle badge until you confirm your email.
Questions
Does the badge need JavaScript?
No. It is an image inside a link, so it works on any site, in a README and in most email signatures.
Can it show revenue I typed in?
No. Only revenue verified with a connected provider (Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, RevenueCat or Shopify) appears on a badge. Other projects show Built by and your handle.
How fast does it update?
Within an hour of a sync. Connections refresh every few hours, or on demand from the editor.
Is it free?
Yes, on the free plan and on Pro.
