Feature

Open to work, with a resume one tap away

Switch on Open to work and a badge appears by your name, with a "Get in touch" button on every project page. Upload a PDF resume and it opens in one tap. Both are free.

The Open to work badge

Turn on Open to work in the editor and a small badge appears under your name on your page and on every project page. It links to where you want to be contacted: an email address, or a link such as a Cal.com booking page, LinkedIn or a form. Without one, it uses your public email.

Each project page ends with a short "Get in touch" box with the same button. Someone who just read how you built a project is the person most likely to reach out, so the button is where they already are. Booked up? Switch it off and the badge and boxes disappear.

Your resume as a PDF

Upload your resume as a PDF, up to 5 MB, and a Resume button appears by your name. It opens in the browser's PDF viewer, at an address that stays the same when you upload a new version, so the link on old applications never breaks.

The resume is kept out of search engines. It usually repeats what your page says plus contact details that do not need to be indexed. It only goes live once your email is confirmed, like the page itself. The button shows whether or not you are open to work, so a resume can stay up between searches.

See when it gets read

Resume opens are counted as a goal in your analytics, next to project clicks and subscribes. Put a tagged link on each application, like ?utm_source=resume&utm_campaign=acme, and you can see which application brought a visit, which projects were opened and whether the resume was. There are no cookies and no stored IP addresses, so you see that a visit happened, not who made it. Build tagged links with the UTM builder.

Who it is for

Developers and designers looking for a role, freelancers between clients, founders open to an acqui-hire or advisory work. The portfolio link for your resume page covers job searches end to end, and project pages turn each project into the case study an interviewer wants to read. Open to work and the resume are free on every plan; Pro adds a custom domain at $20 a year.

Questions

Is Open to work free?

Yes. The badge, the Get in touch boxes and the resume upload are on every plan.

Where does the Get in touch button go?

To the email or link you set, such as a booking page or LinkedIn. If you set nothing, it uses your public email.

Is my resume indexed by Google?

No. The PDF is served with a noindex header, so search engines leave it out.

Can I see if someone opened my resume?

You see resume opens as a goal in your analytics, with the source and campaign, but not who opened it. There are no cookies or stored IP addresses.
