Feature
Real analytics, without cookies
See who visits, where they come from and what they click, with no cookies and no stored IP addresses. Built in, nothing to install.
Everything you would want to know
Every makerhandle page has analytics built in:
- Visitors and pageviews, with bounce rate and visit duration
- Sources: which sites and apps send people, plus UTM campaigns for links you tag
- Locations: countries, regions and cities
- Devices: device type, browser and operating system
- Goals: project clicks and email subscribes
- Comparison with the previous period, so you can see what changed
No tracking script to paste and no third-party account to connect. Stats start counting as soon as your page is live.
Private by design
makerhandle analytics use no cookies and store no IP addresses. Unique visitors are counted with a daily salted hash, and the salt changes every day, so we can tell visits apart within a day without keeping a record of who anyone is.
Your visitors are not followed around the web, and nobody is building a profile of them. You still get the numbers that matter for a maker page: how many people came, from where, and what they did.
It is the kind of analytics most makers would build for themselves if they had the time.
Realtime, export and public stats
Watch realtime visitors when you post a launch or get mentioned in a newsletter. Export any report as CSV when you want to dig deeper in a spreadsheet.
If you build in public, you can turn on an optional public stats page so anyone can see your traffic, next to your verified revenue. It is a simple way to back up a monthly update with real numbers. See makerhandle for building in public.
Turn it off again whenever you like.
Questions it answers
- Is anyone using my bio link? Visitors and pageviews.
- Which project gets the most interest? Project clicks as goals.
- Is my page doing its job? Bounce rate and visit duration. If lots of people leave without clicking, the descriptions or order may need work.
- Which platform is worth posting on? Sources and UTM campaigns.
- Did my newsletter grow from this launch? Subscribes as goals, compared with the previous period.
- Is my audience on phones or laptops? Devices and browsers, which can help you pick a template.
Free vs Pro
The free plan shows the last 7 days of analytics, enough to see the effect of a launch or a post that took off. Pro keeps a full year, so you can compare months, spot seasonal patterns and answer "did that podcast actually send anyone?" weeks later.
Pro is $20 a year and also includes unlimited projects, every template, a custom domain and no badge. Pages run on Cloudflare's edge network, so they load fast and give your click-through rate the best chance. See pricing or link in bio for founders.
