Feature

Show your MRR publicly, verified by Stripe

Paste a Stripe restricted key with read access and your page shows MRR that updates itself, with a check mark and a history chart.

What we read

Create a restricted key in Stripe with Read access to Subscriptions and Charges, and leave everything else at None. We check the key before saving it and reject full secret keys (sk_live_) outright.

With that access we can list subscriptions and charges. We cannot create charges, issue refunds, change customers or move money. See what a Stripe restricted key is.

How MRR is calculated

  • Each active subscription is converted to a monthly amount: yearly plans are divided by twelve, weekly plans scaled up, and so on.
  • Active discounts are applied, so a 50% coupon counts as half.
  • If a project has no subscriptions, we show the last 30 days of charges, net of refunds, instead.

It is a simple, stated method, which matters more than any one formula. Read MRR explained.

History and refresh

The first connection reads up to twelve months of charges to draw a revenue history chart. After that, connections refresh automatically every few hours, and you can refresh on demand.

Verified projects get a check mark on your page and a sparkline on the public leaderboard. Each project can have its own Stripe account.

Safe by default

Keys are encrypted at rest, never shown again (not even to you), and used only to read the figures your page shows. Disconnect in makerhandle or delete the key in Stripe, and access ends.

Works on the free plan and on Pro. Step by step: how to show verified MRR.

Questions

Which permissions does the key need?

Read access to Subscriptions and Charges. Everything else can stay at None.

Why not use a full secret key?

A full secret key can move money. We reject them so a leaked key could never do harm.

Are yearly plans counted?

Yes, divided into a monthly amount.

Is it free?

Yes. Verified revenue works on the free plan.
