Milestones worth posting about

When your page passes a milestone, from the first 100 views to a project crossing $10k MRR, makerhandle shows it once with a ready-made image to share.

What counts as a milestone

  • Page views: 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000.
  • Subscribers: 10, 100 and 1,000 confirmed subscribers.
  • Revenue: a project's verified revenue crossing $100, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 a month.
  • Your first project with a link.
  • Anniversaries: a year on makerhandle, and every year after.

Each is recorded once. Revenue milestones only count verified revenue, so a typed-in figure never triggers a "$10k MRR" card.

A celebration, and an image to share

The next time you open the editor, a new milestone shows as a short celebration with a share image made for it, ready to post on X, LinkedIn or Bluesky. It is also emailed to you once, and you can turn those emails off in Settings.

Every milestone you have reached stays as a badge in your Stats. For revenue milestones you want to style yourself, with a growth chart, use the free revenue card generator.

Why it helps

People who build in public know milestones are the posts that travel. The hard part is noticing them and making the image on the day. makerhandle does both, and every post points back to your page, which makes the next milestone a little closer. Milestones are free on every plan.

Questions

Which milestones does makerhandle track?

Page views (100 to 100,000), confirmed subscribers (10, 100, 1,000), verified revenue crossing $100, $1k, $5k and $10k a month, your first project and yearly anniversaries.

Do manual revenue figures count?

No. Only verified revenue from a connected provider triggers a revenue milestone.

Can I turn off milestone emails?

Yes, in Settings or from the link in the email. Milestones still show in the editor.
