Feature
A contact form on your page
Let visitors write to you straight from your page. Messages arrive in your inbox, reply goes to the sender, and your email address is never shown on the page.
How it works
In the editor's Signups tab, set the block on your page to Contact form. Visitors see a short form: name, email, the message and, if you want one, a subject. You choose the heading, the button label and a note above the form.
When someone sends a message, it is emailed to you, and hitting reply answers them directly. A copy is kept in your Messages list in the editor for 90 days. The form works on every template and on your custom domain, and it sends even when the visitor's browser has JavaScript turned off.
Your address stays private
Putting an email address on a public page invites scrapers and spam. With the form, your address is not on the page at all; the visitor only learns it if you reply. Good for freelancers taking enquiries, founders who get partnership and press requests, and anyone open to work who would rather not publish an inbox.
Spam stays out
The form turns away the usual junk before it reaches you:
- a hidden field that only bots fill in
- messages sent faster than a person can type
- throwaway email addresses
- messages that are mostly links, or a link in the name
- too many messages from one place in a short time
A visitor who trips a rule gets a plain sentence saying what to fix, so real people are not lost.
Contact form or subscribe box
The page has one audience block: an email subscribe box, a button to your own newsletter, or the contact form. Pick the one that matches what you want from visitors, and switch any time; your settings are kept. The contact form is part of Pro at $20 a year, with unlimited projects, every template and your own domain. See pricing, or how freelancers and consultants use their page.
