Templates that make your work look good

Pick one of seven templates built for showing projects, then adjust the colours. Your page is done in about two minutes and you cannot break it.

Seven templates

Each template is designed to show off projects with screenshots:

  • Stack: the classic, one clean column, every project a tap away
  • Showcase: big cards with screenshots, a portfolio that lets the work speak
  • Minimal: type, whitespace and nothing else
  • Bento: a grid of tiles, featured projects big with revenue and socials around them
  • Spotlight: one project front and centre, the rest of your work below
  • Terminal: a shell-style page for people who live in a terminal
  • Studio: profile on the left, projects on the right, built for big screens

Stack, Minimal and Showcase are free. All seven are included in Pro.

Templates you cannot break

Page builders give you freedom, and then you spend an evening fixing spacing on mobile. makerhandle templates work the other way: you fill in your bio and projects, and the template handles the layout on phones, tablets and laptops.

Switch templates at any time and your content comes with you. Add a project and it slots into place. There are no blocks to drag, no breakpoints to check and no way to end up with a broken page. That is why most makers finish their page in about two minutes.

Themes, colours and fonts

On top of the template, choose a theme. There are six presets, light and dark: Mokxi and Daylight are free, and Midnight, Circuit, Paper and White come with Pro.

On Pro you can also fine-tune any theme with an accent colour, a font (system, Inter, Space Grotesk, a monospace or a serif) and a corner style (square, soft, round or pill). A brand accent colour and the right font are often enough to make the page feel like part of your product.

Custom theme builder on Pro

If the presets are not quite right, the Pro theme builder lets you set your own colours, use a gradient or upload a background image. The template keeps the structure, so project cards, statuses and revenue stay readable on top of whatever you choose.

Pair it with a custom domain and remove the badge, and visitors will not think of it as a third-party page at all. Every change shows instantly in the live phone preview, so there is no publish, refresh and check loop.

Free vs Pro

The free plan includes the Stack, Minimal and Showcase templates, the Mokxi and Daylight themes, and a small "Built w/ makerhandle" badge.

Pro at $20 a year unlocks all seven templates, every theme, accent colours, fonts and corner styles, the custom theme builder, and lets you remove the badge. It also includes unlimited projects, a custom domain and a year of analytics. See pricing, or see how developers use the Terminal template for side projects and open source.

Start free and upgrade only if you want more.
