Milkshake alternative
A Milkshake alternative for makers
Milkshake builds swipeable mini sites on your phone. makerhandle builds a project page for makers, on any device, in two minutes.
What Milkshake does well
Milkshake is a free iOS and Android app for building a mini website on your phone. Sites are made of swipeable "Cards" with styles called "Looks", and the whole thing is designed for creators who live on their phones. If you want to build your bio site without ever opening a laptop, it is pleasant to use.
As of October 2026 its site lists a free plan, Pro at $59.99 a year and Pro+ at $99.99 a year, with a custom domain on Pro+.
Built for projects
makerhandle is a web app, so you can edit from a phone or a laptop, with a live preview either way. Instead of cards, you add projects: name, description, link, tags, screenshot and a status (Active, Building, Acquired, On hold or Discontinued).
Pick one of seven templates (Stack, Showcase, Bento, Minimal, Spotlight, Terminal or Studio). They are designed to show off projects with screenshots and hard to break. Setup takes about two minutes.
Switching templates keeps all your content. Add a project later and it slots into place.
Verified revenue
makerhandle reads revenue from Stripe (a read-only restricted key) or Shopify (a read-only app) and shows it with a check mark, plus a revenue history chart. Verified projects can appear on the public leaderboard.
It is designed for founders, indie hackers and store owners who want proof that their products work, not just links to them. See verified revenue.
Keys are read-only, checked before saving, encrypted at rest and never shown again. Revenue is always optional, and every project can still show its status, description and screenshot without it.
More for less
makerhandle Pro is $20 a year and includes a custom domain with automatic SSL, unlimited projects, all seven templates and the theme builder, unlimited email subscribers, a year of analytics and no badge.
Analytics use no cookies and store no IPs, and cover visitors, pageviews, bounce rate, visit duration, sources and UTM campaigns, locations, devices, project clicks, realtime and CSV export. The free plan covers five projects, three templates, 100 subscribers and seven days of analytics. See pricing.
Billed yearly through Stripe, cancel any time.
Which should you pick?
Pick Milkshake if you are a creator who wants to build a swipeable mini site entirely in a phone app.
Pick makerhandle if you make products and want a clean project page with verified revenue, private analytics and a custom domain, for $20 a year. See custom domain for how the domain setup works.
If you are not sure, try makerhandle on the free plan: five projects, three templates and seven days of analytics cost nothing, and you can see how your projects look in each template before you decide.
