Broken link checker for your link in bio

Paste your page. We open every link on it, up to 30, and tell you which work, which redirect somewhere else and which are dead.

Each link is opened once, the way a visitor's phone would, and its answer is sorted:

  • Works: the page answered normally.
  • Redirects: it works, but now lands on a different site. Common after a rebrand or when a shop moves platforms. Link to the new address so nobody waits on the hop.
  • Broken: page not found, removed, or a server error.
  • Down: the site did not answer within 6 seconds, or its domain no longer exists.
  • Not checked: the site turns automated visits away (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and TikTok all do). Tap these yourself.

Only the response is read, never the page's content, and nothing is stored.

Bio pages collect links over years: a launch from 2023, a sale that ended, a course that moved, a service that shut down. Bento, Read.cv, Polywork and Koji all closed, taking every link to them with it. The link in bio audit flags links to those services by name.

Check your page after every launch and every time you change platforms, and fix anything red first. A dead link is a visitor who tapped and left.

Keep it from happening again

Two habits keep a bio page clean. Put a date on anything temporary: on makerhandle, scheduled links go live and expire on their own, so last month's sale never lingers. And keep the page short; the grader warns past 15 links, because nobody scrolls that far on a phone.

Questions

Which pages can it check?

Any public page: Linktree, Beacons, Stan Store, Carrd, Taplink, Bio.link, your own site. It reads the links the page shows.

Why are my Instagram and LinkedIn links not checked?

Those networks block automated visits, so the result would always look broken. We list them as not checked instead of guessing.

Is there a limit?

The first 30 links on a page, and a few checks an hour from one connection, so the tool stays fast for everyone.

Is it really free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Nothing is saved.
