For Shopify store owners

Show your Shopify store revenue, verified

Connect a read-only Shopify app and show the last 30 days of sales on your page, without giving anyone access to your admin.

Read-only, by design

makerhandle connects to Shopify with an app that has the read_orders scope. That lets us add up your orders and nothing else. We cannot edit products, see payment details, change settings or issue refunds.

Compare that with the usual alternatives. A screenshot proves very little, and a staff account proves everything but risks everything too. A single read-only scope sits in between: enough to show a real number, not enough to do harm.

Credentials are checked before they are saved, encrypted at rest and never shown again. To disconnect, uninstall the app from your store.

Works with the 2026 Shopify changes

Since January 1, 2026, Shopify no longer lets merchants create new legacy custom apps from the admin. New apps are made in the Dev Dashboard and give you a Client ID and Client secret instead of a fixed token.

makerhandle supports both:

  • a Dev Dashboard app: create it, give it read_orders, release a version, install it on your store and paste the Client ID and secret
  • a legacy custom app from before 2026: paste its Admin API token (starts with shpat_)

A fair number

We show the last 30 days of orders, net of refunds, and leave out cancelled orders and test orders. That makes the figure comparable from month to month and hard to inflate by accident. A big refund lowers it, as it should, and the test order you placed while setting up payments never counts.

Verified figures get a check mark on your page and on the public leaderboard, which visitors can filter to verified only. If you would rather type a number in yourself, you can, and it shows without the check so nobody mistakes one for the other.

More than one store

Running several stores, or a store plus a SaaS? Each project on your page has its own connection. Shopify stores and Stripe products can sit side by side, each with its own status, description, tags, logo and revenue.

Mark your main store as large to feature it at the top. Stores you have closed or sold can be marked Discontinued or Acquired, and a new store still in setup can be marked Building. Visitors get the whole picture of what you run, not just your newest shop, and you get one link to put in every bio.

See where shoppers come from

Built-in stats show page views, unique visitors, clicks on each store, click-through rate, referrers and countries. That helps you see whether Instagram, TikTok or X is sending people to your page, which store they click, and where in the world they are.

It is a quick check on your social posting. If a platform sends lots of views and no clicks, the post may be working but the page may not, or the other way round.

Unique visitors are counted with a daily salted hash, with no IPs stored. More on analytics.

Questions

Which Shopify scope do you need?

Only read_orders. We do not need access to products, customers or settings.

I made a custom app before 2026. Can I use it?

Yes. Paste its Admin API access token (it starts with shpat_) as long as it has the read_orders scope.

Are test orders counted?

No. We exclude test orders and cancelled orders, and subtract refunds.

Can I show Stripe and Shopify revenue on the same page?

Yes. Each project has its own connection, so you can mix providers.

Does it cost extra to verify revenue?

No. Verified revenue works on the free plan as well as Pro.
