For solopreneurs

One page for your one-person business

Your products, services and side projects on one clear page, with your own domain and stats that show what people click.

Everything you do, in one place

Solopreneurs often juggle a few things at once: a main product or service, a newsletter, a course, a side project or two. makerhandle lets you list each one as a project with a name, description, link, tags and status.

Feature your main offer with a large card at the top, and keep the rest in a tidy list below. Your bio supports Markdown, so you can add a line of bold text or a link without fighting a page builder.

Add your socials (GitHub, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, a website and email) and visitors have every way to reach you in one place. Running a newsletter? Add a subscribe box with double opt-in, or a button to Substack, beehiiv, Kit, Buttondown or Mailchimp.

Look like a business, on your own domain

On Pro, put your page on your own domain: either a subdomain like links.yourname.com or the root domain itself. SSL is issued and renewed automatically, and the editor walks you through the DNS records and checks them for you.

It means your link reads as yours, and if you ever change tools, you change a DNS record instead of every bio. It is also easier to say out loud on a call or a podcast, and it looks right on an invoice or a business card. Our guide to custom domains for your link in bio explains the options.

Know what works

Stats show page views, unique visitors, clicks on each project, click-through rate, referrers and countries. If your newsletter gets more clicks than your course, that is worth knowing. If LinkedIn sends more visitors than X, maybe that is where your next post should go.

The free plan keeps seven days of stats, enough to see the effect of a single post. Pro keeps a full year, so you can compare launches, quiet months and seasons. Visitor counting uses a daily salted hash, so no IP addresses are stored and there is no tracking script to add.

Show traction, if you want to

If you sell through Stripe or Shopify, you can connect a read-only key and show verified revenue on a project, with a check mark next to the number. It is optional, and you can type a figure yourself or leave it blank.

Plenty of solopreneurs share numbers to build trust with buyers and peers; plenty do not, because clients do not need to know. Both are fine. You can also show revenue on one project and keep another private. See verified revenue for how the connection works and what it can read.

A price that fits

Free forever for up to five projects, with a small "Built w/ makerhandle" badge. For many solopreneurs that covers everything.

Pro is $20 a year for unlimited projects, all seven templates, every theme plus the custom theme builder, a custom domain, a year of stats and no badge. Billed yearly through Stripe, cancel any time, no per-seat or usage pricing to keep track of. It is one of the smaller lines on your tools bill. See pricing, or start your page on the free plan and upgrade later if you need to.

Questions

Can I list services, not just products?

Yes. A project is anything with a name and a link, so a service page, course or newsletter works fine.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Pro. Use a subdomain like links.yourname.com or your root domain, with SSL handled for you.

Can I remove the makerhandle badge?

Yes, on Pro.

Do I need to know HTML?

No. The editor has a live preview, and the bio uses simple Markdown for bold text and links.
