For newsletter writers

A link in bio that grows your list

Put a subscribe box right on your page, or a button to the newsletter you already run, next to the books, products and projects you make.

Two ways to collect subscribers

Turn on the subscribe block and choose:

  • makerhandle's own list. Visitors enter their email, get a confirmation message, and only count once they confirm (double opt-in). Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can export the list as CSV any time.
  • A button to your newsletter. Link straight to your Substack, beehiiv, Kit, Buttondown or Mailchimp signup page, with your own button text.

Free covers up to 100 confirmed subscribers. Pro is unlimited. See email subscribers.

See which posts send readers

Analytics count subscribes as goals, next to sources and UTM campaigns. Share your page from a post on X, a LinkedIn article and a podcast appearance, tag each link, and see which one actually grew the list.

There are no cookies and no stored IP addresses, so you do not need a cookie banner for your page's analytics. Read link in bio and GDPR and grow a newsletter from your link in bio.

Everything else you write and make

Writers rarely stop at one thing. Add your newsletter, your book, your course and your side project as projects, each with a cover or screenshot, a description and a link. Give each a status: a book still being written can be Building, a finished series can be Discontinued without disappearing.

If you sell a paid tier or a course through Stripe, connect a read-only key and show verified revenue. It is optional, and off by default.

Simple pricing

Free forever for five projects and 100 subscribers. Pro is $20 a year for unlimited projects and subscribers, all seven templates, a custom domain and a year of stats. The Minimal template, with your bio set like a lede, suits writers especially well. See pricing.
