For hair stylists
Your book, not the salon's
Renting a chair or a suite means your clients follow you, not the building. Give them one page that moves with you.
Book first, with your rules under it
Paste your Booksy, Square Appointments, Vagaro or Fresha link into Book a time. It sits at the top in your accent color, with a short line under it like "New clients start with a consult. $25 deposit."
Using GlossGenius, StyleSeat or another app makerhandle does not list? Put that link first in your links instead. It works the same for your clients; it just shows as a normal button.
What your page would show
Example: a color specialist in a salon suite. Her photo, "Lived-in blonde and color corrections. Suite 14, Sola Salons Plano" as the bio. Then:
- Book on Square, the big button
- Read before you book, a link to her policies
- Color correction inquiry, a link to a short form
- Products I use, a link to her shop
Her work goes below as project pages: "Blonde transformations", "Copper and red", "Corrections", each with a before and after gallery that search engines can find.
When you move suites or salons
Your page address stays the same when you move, so the card you hand out today still works next year. Change the address in the opening hours block and every client sees the new door.
Print the QR code from the Share sheet on the back of your appointment cards. The scans show up in your stats as "QR code", so you know the cards are working.
See what works, on an address you own
Built-in analytics count visits, where they came from (Instagram, TikTok and Google) and which buttons get tapped, with no cookies and no consent banner. Scans of your QR code show up as their own source, so you can tell the printed code apart from your bio link.
On Pro, $20 a year, the page can live on your own domain, like hairbymaya.com, and hairbymaya.com/book goes straight to your booking page. Print it once and it keeps working when you change apps. Coming from Linktree? Paste it on the import page and your links come over in order.
Questions
I use GlossGenius or StyleSeat. Does that work?
Yes, as your first link. The Book a time block recognizes Booksy, Square, Vagaro, Fresha, Calendly and a few more; any other booking page works as a normal link.
Can I show before and after photos?
Yes. Make each type of work a project with a gallery, and each one gets its own page.
What happens if I leave my salon?
Nothing breaks. The page is yours, so you change the address and the booking link and keep the same page and short link.
Is it free?
Yes. Free pages hold 50 links, your socials, booking, opening hours, a QR code and 7 days of stats. Pro is $20 a year for your own domain, every template, a year of stats and no badge.
