For braiders
Styles, prep and booking on one page
Half your DMs ask the same things: how much, how long, what do I bring. Answer them on the page before anyone books.
Book, then read the prep
Put your Booksy, Square or Acuity link in Book a time with a line under it like "Deposit holds your spot. Hair not included." Acuity and Booksy business pages can show the full service list on your page, with times and prices.
Directly under it, a link called Read before booking to your prep rules: wash and blow dry, hair to bring, lateness and the deposit policy. Clients who read it show up ready.
What your page would show
Example: a braider working from home in Atlanta. Her photo, "Knotless, boho and stitch braids. Home studio in East Point" as the bio. Then:
- Book on Booksy, the big button
- Read before booking, her prep and policy page
- Hair I recommend, a link to the hair she buys
- Waitlist for this month, a link to a short form
Each style is a project with photos and a short note on length and time: "Small knotless, waist length, about 7 hours". Visitors scroll the styles, then tap Book.
When the book is full
Fully booked for the month? Add a scheduled link like "Next month opens Friday 9am" that shows a countdown and swaps itself for your booking link when the time comes. Nobody has to ask in your DMs.
Hand clients a card with your QR code at the end of the appointment. It is the easiest way for them to rebook in eight weeks.
See what works, on an address you own
Built-in analytics count visits, where they came from (Instagram, TikTok and Facebook) and which buttons get tapped, with no cookies and no consent banner. Scans of your QR code show up as their own source, so you can tell the printed code apart from your bio link.
On Pro, $20 a year, the page can live on your own domain, like braidsbykia.com, and braidsbykia.com/book goes straight to your booking page. Print it once and it keeps working when you change apps. Coming from Linktree? Paste it on the import page and your links come over in order.
Questions
Can I show prices and how long each style takes?
Yes. Put them in each style's description, or show your Booksy or Acuity service list with prices right on the page.
Can I open my books at a set time?
Yes. A scheduled link can show a countdown and go live at the time you choose, then hide itself when the window closes.
Does makerhandle take the deposit?
No. Deposits stay in your booking app. The page sends clients there.
Is it free?
Yes. Free pages hold 50 links, your socials, booking, opening hours, a QR code and 7 days of stats. Pro is $20 a year for your own domain, every template, a year of stats and no badge.
