Video
YouTube on your link in bio
Paste your channel once. Your page shows your newest upload from then on, and it plays right there.
What works today
- Latest YouTube video: your newest upload, or newest three, with thumbnail, title and date. Shorts are left out unless you switch them on.
- Plays on the page after a click, from youtube-nocookie.com, or opens YouTube if you prefer.
- Featured video: pin one video near the top, like a trailer or your best one. Vimeo, Loom and MP4 uploads work too.
- YouTube icon with your @handle, and visits from YouTube show as their own source in your stats.
Set it up
- In the editor's Page tab, choose Add block, then Latest YouTube video.
- Paste your channel link or @handle and choose one video or three.
- Choose what a click does: play on the page, or open YouTube. Put it above or below your projects.
- For a pinned video, add Featured video and paste the video link.
Good to know
There is no YouTube login and no API key: makerhandle reads your channel's public feed, about every hour while your page gets visits and once a day otherwise; Refresh now fetches a new upload at once. The player loads nothing until someone presses play, so the page stays fast. Free on every plan. See video and podcast and makerhandle for YouTubers.
Other video and audio: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Twitch. Or see every integration.

Do I need a YouTube API key?
No. Paste your channel link or @handle; makerhandle reads the public feed.
Can I leave Shorts out?
Yes, they are left out by default. Switch them on if you want them.
Does the video set YouTube cookies?
Not until someone presses play, and then it plays from youtube-nocookie.com.
