For barbers and salons
Your Booksy chair, one tap from your bio
Clients find you on Instagram and TikTok and book on Booksy. Put the Book button first, your cuts and sets below, and keep it all on your own address.
Book first, everything else second
The one thing most people tap in a barber's or stylist's bio is "Book". makerhandle puts it at the top in your accent color: paste your Booksy link into Book a time and your page says "Book on Booksy", with a line like "Fades, tapers and beard trims. Deposits on Booksy."
Prefer clients to see your chair before they leave your page? Switch to the calendar view and your Booksy service list, prices and Book buttons show right on the page, through Booksy's own widget. Clients finish booking in Booksy, so your deposits, reminders and no-show rules stay exactly as they are.
On Fresha, Vagaro, Square Appointments or Setmore instead? Those work too, as a button that opens your booking page.
What your page would show
Example: a barber with one chair in a shared shop. Her photo, "Fades and tapers in East Austin, Tuesday to Saturday" in the bio, and the shop under her name. Then:
- Book on Booksy, the big button, with "New clients welcome" under it
- Instagram and TikTok icons for the cuts she posts every day
- Find the shop, a map link with the map icon
- Products I use, a link to her favorite pomade
Below, her work as cards with photos: "Signature fade", "Kids' cuts", "Beard sculpting", each opening its own project page with a gallery. A nail tech would show sets and nail art the same way, a salon its stylists.
Know what brings clients in
Built-in analytics show visits, where they came from (Instagram, TikTok, Google, Facebook), and how many tapped Book. Your short link, makerhandle.com/yourname/book, goes straight to Booksy and counts too, so you can put it on a mirror card or in a text to a regular.
No cookies and no stored IP addresses, so there is no consent banner on your page.
Your own address
On Pro, $20 a year, your page can live on your own domain, like book.yourshop.com or yourshop.com, and yourshop.com/book goes to Booksy. Print it once on cards and the window, and it keeps working even if you change booking apps later. See custom domain.
Coming from Linktree? Paste it on the import page: your links come over, and your Booksy link becomes the Book button by itself. More for shops and studios on the small businesses page.
Questions
Does it work with Booksy?
Yes. Paste any Booksy link for a Book on Booksy button, or your business page link to show your service list and Book buttons right on your page.
Do clients book on makerhandle?
No, they book on Booksy (or Fresha, Vagaro, Square). makerhandle is the page in your bio that sends them there and counts the taps.
Is it free?
Yes. The Book button, 50 links, socials and stats are free. Pro is $20 a year for your own domain, every template and no badge.
Can I show photos of my work?
Yes. Add each style or set as a project with photos, and it gets its own page with a gallery.
