Dribbble alternative
A Dribbble alternative for a product portfolio
Dribbble is built for shots and finding clients. If you want the whole story of the products you worked on, in one link, a maker page fits better.

What Dribbble does well
Dribbble is a design community and marketplace. Designers post shots, small polished pieces of work, and clients use it to find and hire designers. Its paid plans are about leads: the Pro page lists Lite at $4 a month billed yearly with up to three services, an enhanced profile and a personal portfolio website, Standard at $8 a month billed yearly with a bigger search boost and recommendations, and Plus at $99 a month billed yearly. A basic account is free.
If you freelance and want inbound client work, few places beat it.
Shots are not a case study
The format that makes Dribbble great for browsing makes it thin for hiring: a shot shows the final pixels, not the problem, your role or what happened after launch. Product teams hiring a designer tend to ask for exactly those things.
Dribbble's audience is also mostly other designers and people looking to hire one. If you build and ship your own products, it shows only one side of what you do.

The whole story, in one link
makerhandle gives each project a page: what it is, what you did (role and timeline), the tools, a captioned gallery of up to 12 images, one-line highlights and links to the live product, a demo or the source. A status shows whether it is still running, and verified revenue shows if it earns. Put the link on your resume and the reader gets the full picture without an account.
With Open to work on, a badge appears by your name and every project page gets a button to your email or booking link. See makerhandle for designers and portfolio for job seekers.
When Dribbble is the better choice
Choose Dribbble if you freelance and want client leads, or your best work is visual polish that reads well as a shot.
Choose makerhandle if you want to be hired for product work or show the products you have shipped, with context and outcomes, for $20 a year on your own domain. Many designers post shots on Dribbble and link to a makerhandle page for the full story. See also makerhandle vs Behance and what a case study is.
