# Stripe on your link in bio

> Three ways makerhandle works with Stripe: verified MRR from a read-only key, products from payment links, and tips paid into your own Stripe account.

Show what your product earns, list what you sell through payment links, and take support straight into your own Stripe account.

## What works today

- **Verified MRR.** A restricted key with Read access to **Subscriptions** and **Charges** lets your page show MRR, or 30-day revenue, with a check mark and a history chart. See [Stripe MRR](https://makerhandle.com/features/stripe-mrr).
- **Products from payment links.** Active payment links with one product appear in the [product grid](https://makerhandle.com/features/products) with their price. The key needs Read access to **Payment Links, Products and Prices** too.
- **Support payments.** The [support button](https://makerhandle.com/features/support) takes one-time support and monthly memberships through Stripe Checkout on **your own Stripe account**, connected with Stripe Connect: 0% platform fee on Pro, 5% on Free, plus Stripe's fees. Built-in support is opening to makers in stages.

## Set it up

**MRR and products:** in Stripe, create a restricted key with Read on Subscriptions and Charges (add Payment Links, Products and Prices for the product grid), leave the rest at None, and paste it on your project under revenue. Full secret keys are refused. Step by step: [how to show verified MRR](https://makerhandle.com/blog/how-to-show-verified-mrr).

**Support:** in the editor's Support tab, connect your Stripe account when built-in support opens for you. Until then, the button can open your Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi or Patreon page.

## Good to know

Keys are checked before saving, encrypted at rest and never shown again, and a restricted key cannot move money. Each project can use its own Stripe account. See [what a Stripe restricted key is](https://makerhandle.com/glossary/stripe-restricted-key).

## Questions

### Is it safe to give makerhandle a Stripe key?

Use a restricted key with Read access only. It can list subscriptions and charges; it cannot create charges, refund or change anything.

### Why are some of my products missing?

Only active payment links with exactly one product show, and the key needs Read on Payment Links, Products and Prices.

### Who is the seller for support payments?

You are. Supporters pay your own Stripe account, and refunds and disputes are in your Stripe Dashboard.
