# Maps and directions on your link in bio

> Show your address with Open in Maps on your link in bio: Google Maps on Android and desktop, Apple Maps on iPhone, plus hours and a small map. Free.

Your address with one tap to directions, in the maps app each visitor already uses, next to your opening hours.

## What works today

- **Open in Maps:** opens Apple Maps on iPhones, iPads and Macs, and Google Maps everywhere else.
- **Your address, phone and hours** in the [opening hours](https://makerhandle.com/features/opening-hours) block, with an "Open now" badge and tap-to-call.
- **An optional small map,** off by default, drawn from OpenStreetMap and served by makerhandle, so no map script loads on your page.
- **LocalBusiness data** for search engines: your address, phone and hours as structured data.

## Set it up

1. In the editor's **Page** tab, open **Business info**.
2. Enter your business name and type, address, phone and weekly hours, plus holiday hours if you like.
3. Turn on the small map if you want one, and publish.

## Good to know

makerhandle does not embed Google's own map or reviews; Open in Maps hands visitors to their maps app with your address. Keep your Google Business Profile up to date too, since that is what Google Maps itself shows. All of this is on every plan. ## Questions

### Does it open Google Maps or Apple Maps?

Apple Maps on Apple devices, Google Maps on everything else.

### Can I show a map on the page?

Yes, an optional small map from OpenStreetMap, turned on in Business info.

### Does it replace my Google Business Profile?

No. Keep that up to date for Google Maps; your page adds structured data that search engines read.
