# Book a trial session

> A link in bio for tutors and test prep coaches: book a trial session, subjects and grades, rates and packages, student results and reviews.

Parents want to know if you teach their kid's subject and grade, what it costs, and if it works. Then they want a time.

## A trial session, on the calendar

Put your Calendly, Cal.com or TidyCal link in [Book a time](https://makerhandle.com/features/booking) and the calendar shows on the page: "Free 30 minute trial". Under it, a line that answers the first question: "Algebra to calculus, SAT and ACT. Online or in Arlington."

## What your page would show

**Example:** an independent math tutor. Her photo, "Math tutoring and SAT prep, grades 7 to 12" as the bio. Then:

- **Book a free trial**, Calendly on the page
- **Rates and packages**
- **Pay an invoice**, her Stripe link
- **Parent reviews**, Google
- **SAT dates and deadlines**, a [scheduled link](https://makerhandle.com/features/scheduled-links) before each test

Results go below as projects: "SAT, 1180 to 1420 in 10 weeks".

## School and library boards

Pin a flyer with the QR code at the library and the school bulletin board. Scans show up as "QR code" in your stats.

## See what works, on an address you own

Built-in [analytics](https://makerhandle.com/features/analytics) count visits, where they came from (Google, Facebook and Nextdoor) and which buttons get tapped, with no cookies and no consent banner. Scans of your QR code show up as their own source, so you can tell the printed code apart from your bio link.

On Pro, **$20 a year**, the page can live on your own domain, like mathwithmaria.com, and mathwithmaria.com/book goes straight to your booking page. Print it once and it keeps working when you change apps. Coming from Linktree? Paste it on the [import page](https://makerhandle.com/import) and your links come over in order.
