# Get the quote request, not the DM

> A link in bio for caterers and private chefs: sample menus, a quote request, a tasting booking, past events with photos and reviews.

Event planners want menus, a price range and proof you have done this before. Then they want a quote.

## Request a quote, or book a tasting

First link: **Request a quote**, your form with date, guest count and budget. For tastings or calls, put Calendly or Acuity in [Book a time](https://makerhandle.com/features/booking) and the calendar shows on the page.

A line under it sets expectations: "Weddings and corporate events from 30 guests. Booking spring dates now."

## What your page would show

**Example:** a Mediterranean caterer. The logo, "Catering and private dinners across the Twin Cities" as the bio. Then:

- **Request a quote**
- **Book a tasting**, Calendly on the page
- **Sample menus**, three links: wedding, corporate, family style
- **Drop-off trays**, in the [product grid](https://makerhandle.com/features/products) with prices and an order link

Past events go below as [project pages](https://makerhandle.com/features/project-pages) with photos and the menu they served.

## At the event itself

Put a small QR card on the buffet: "Loved the food? Scan for catering". Guests at a wedding are the next year's clients. Scans show as "QR code" in your stats, so you know which events sent work your way.

## See what works, on an address you own

Built-in [analytics](https://makerhandle.com/features/analytics) count visits, where they came from (Instagram, Google and The Knot) and which buttons get tapped, with no cookies and no consent banner. Scans of your QR code show up as their own source, so you can tell the printed code apart from your bio link.

On Pro, **$20 a year**, the page can live on your own domain, like mezzecatering.com, and mezzecatering.com/book goes straight to your booking page. Print it once and it keeps working when you change apps. Coming from Linktree? Paste it on the [import page](https://makerhandle.com/import) and your links come over in order.
