# Spotlight: one project front and center

> Spotlight puts one project on stage like a launch page, with a big screenshot in a browser frame and a Visit button. The rest of your work follows below.

Your featured project gets the stage, like a product launch page. The rest of your work follows in a neat grid below.

## How it is laid out

A slim bar at the top shows your photo and name. Then the **hero**: your featured project (the first one marked large, or simply your first project) with its logo, name, description, a **Visit** button, its status and revenue, and its screenshot in a browser frame showing the address.

Its longer details and tags sit beneath. A "More from you" grid follows with your other projects, each with a thumbnail, status and revenue. An about card with your bio, total revenue, links and subscribe box closes the page.

## Who it suits

Anyone with one thing they want people to click right now: a launch, a main product, a book, a game coming out. It is the template to switch to in the week of a [Product Hunt launch](https://makerhandle.com/for/product-hunt-launchers), then switch back after.

Because it leads with a single product, it also suits founders whose bio link is mostly a way into their company.

## Part of Pro

Spotlight is included in **Pro at $20 a year**, with Bento, Terminal and Studio. Changing which project is in the spotlight is one click: mark another project as large, or reorder.

See all [templates and themes](https://makerhandle.com/features/themes), or [Showcase](https://makerhandle.com/features/showcase-template), which gives every project an equal big card.

## Questions

### Which project goes in the spotlight?

The first project you mark as large, or your first project if none is marked.

### Is Spotlight free?

No. It is part of Pro at $20 a year.

### Does the hero need a screenshot?

It looks best with one, shown in a browser frame. Without one the text still leads.

### Can I switch templates after a launch?

Yes, any time, without losing content.
