# Turn visitors into subscribers

> A subscribe box on your link in bio with double opt-in and CSV export, or a button to Substack, beehiiv or Kit. 100 subscribers free, unlimited on Pro.

Add a subscribe box to your page, with double opt-in and CSV export. Or send people to the newsletter you already run.

## Two modes

Turn on the subscribe block in the editor and pick a mode:

- **Collect on makerhandle.** A heading like "Subscribe to my emails", an email field and your own button text. Addresses are stored with your page, confirmed by email, and exportable any time.
- **Link out.** A button to your signup page on Substack, beehiiv, Kit, Buttondown, Mailchimp or anywhere else, with your own label.

Every template shows the block in its own style: a card in Stack, a tile in Bento, a `subscribe` command in Terminal.

## Double opt-in, done right

When someone subscribes, they get an email asking them to confirm. Only confirmed addresses count toward your list. Each email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works with one click.

A few protections run quietly in the background: a hidden field that catches bots, rate limits per visitor, and the same "check your inbox" reply whether or not an address is already on the list, so nobody can probe who subscribes to you. Read [double opt-in explained](https://makerhandle.com/glossary/double-opt-in).

## Export and use anywhere

Export your confirmed subscribers as **CSV** whenever you like, and import them into any newsletter tool. makerhandle does not send newsletters itself; it collects a clean, confirmed list for you.

Subscribes count as **goals** in your analytics, so you can see which sources and campaigns grow the list. See [analytics](https://makerhandle.com/features/analytics).

## Free vs Pro

The free plan holds up to **100 confirmed subscribers**. When the list is full, the form politely tells visitors to try later. **Pro** is unlimited, along with unlimited projects, every template and a custom domain, for **$20 a year**. See [pricing](https://makerhandle.com/pricing) and [grow a newsletter from your link in bio](https://makerhandle.com/blog/grow-newsletter-from-link-in-bio).
