# makerhandle vs Typedream

> Typedream is a simple website builder, acquired by beehiiv in 2024. makerhandle is a ready-made page for makers with verified revenue and stats.

Typedream made building a website feel like writing a doc. makerhandle goes one step simpler: a maker page with nothing to build.

## What Typedream does well

Typedream is a no-code website builder with a Notion-like editor: type, add blocks, publish. It became popular with makers for landing pages and simple personal sites. In **June 2024, beehiiv announced it had acquired Typedream**, and directory listings in 2026 still show it as an active product.

It has a free option on a Typedream subdomain and paid plans that add a custom domain. Check typedream.com for current plans.

## A page vs a site

A website builder gives you pages to fill and a layout to decide. That is right for a product's landing page. For the link in your bio, it is often more than you need.

makerhandle is one page with a fixed job: show who you are and what you make. Add projects with a status, description, tags and screenshot, pick one of seven templates, and you are done. There is nothing to lay out and nothing to break on mobile.

## What you get on top

- **Verified revenue** from Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, RevenueCat or Shopify, with a check mark
- **Cookie-free analytics**: visitors, sources, UTM campaigns, devices, locations, project clicks and subscribes
- an **email subscribe box** with double opt-in, or a button to beehiiv, Substack or Kit
- a public [leaderboard](https://makerhandle.com/features/leaderboard)
- logos fetched automatically from each project's favicon

## Which should you pick?

Pick **Typedream** to build a multi-section landing page or simple site in a doc-like editor.

Pick **makerhandle** for the one link that lists everything you make. Use both: your product's site on Typedream, linked as a project on your makerhandle page. Free for five projects, **Pro is $20 a year** with a custom domain. See [pricing](https://makerhandle.com/pricing).
